Fun Dog Show and Annual Reunion Barbeque - 17th July 2015, 10am-3pm
Our annual get together gives the foster parents the opportunity to see the dogs we have bathed, loved, nursed and wanted to keep - again! Join in with our 13 fun dog classes, Face Painting and Balloon Modelling Cake and Jam Stall Raffle, Tombola, and various stalls. For more information see our events page.

Bring a blanket or chair with you. Anyone with any bric-a-brac can bring it with them and I will store it for the next fund raising day. Please bring your dog and take part in our Fun Dog Show or feel free to drop by with your family, friends and dogs at any time between 10am and 3pm so that we can meet. It is always so good to see you all and to know we have your support in our rescuing of unwanted pets. Click here for details.

Dogs are rescued and homed every day so some of the dogs on this page may have been homed by the time you read this. There may be dogs in foster homes that are not available for homing until they have been assessed.

We will rehome dogs and cats to Dorset and the surrounding counties: Isle of Wight, Wiltshire, Hampshire and the Channel Islands, and further afield, home checks and circumstances permitting.

Foster Homes Wanted for Dogs and Puppies
We need people to look after dogs for a short while so that we can assess them before moving them to permanent homes. If we have nowhere to put the dogs we have to leave them at the pound - we do not have our own kennels. We prefer you to live in the area of Bournemouth, Poole, Chichester or Weymouth, Dorset. You should be in most of the day so the dog it not left alone for long periods. You should not be house proud as dogs can shed hair, bring in mud, and may not be completely house trained. You should be fit enough to exercise the dog. We supply everything the animal will need: food, bedding, crate. All you need to supply is love, a nice home and time. If you would like more information please phone 0773 6176613 between 10am and 6pm or e-mail your details including the town you live in and your phone number with the subject Fostering to foster@poundpuppy.org
