Rappahannock Humane Society RHS is a non-profit organization dedicated to animal rescue and placement and to providing for the special needs of abused and traumatized animals in the Rappahannock, Virginia area, encompassing Fredericksburg, Stafford, Spotsylvania, King George, and Caroline counties. Our mission is public education of animal overpopulation statistics, the reduction of the overpopulation of animals by aggressively advocating spaying and neutering, the elimination of the general acceptance of euthanasia as a means of population control, and the prevention of cruel and inhumane treatment of animals.
