Amos - Labrador mix, male, 4 years, black, large size.

Amos is a very well behaved and leash trained black lab mix. He listens very well.
He is a very happy guy who does not like to be sitting in a kennel all the time at the shelter.
He is stubborn when you put him back and grunts with disappointment when he is put back in his kennel.
We estimate his age to be about 4 years old and he was found as a stray!

April 15th 2009: Home/Rescue Needed for Terrier cross - Summersville, WVPringles came into the shelter 4/03/09. She is 7 months old and about 12 to 15 pounds. She is lite brown with wiry fur. She is a friendly girl and does well with other dogs. Pringles owner had to go into a nursing home and Pringles and her friends had to come to the animal shelter. We are NOT A NO-KILL SHELTER as much as we would like to be, it just is not feasable. We do not accept animals out of our Brooke County district, so please do not dump them in the middle of the night thinking they will be fine. Anyone surrendering an animal must sign a release form with all information about the animal. This makes it easier for us to help find it a home. Due to the mass volume of animals we receive, we do not keep old animals. We have pups we can't find homes for let alone a 14 year old animal. If this is the case please be humane to your pet. He has been a loyal companion to you and he does not deserve to be thrown away where he will have to live in a cage 24-7 with lots of noise and stress. And please do not be foolish enough to think someone will adopt him right away. We also do not have a rehabilation program, so we will not keep any animals that are aggressive in any way.
