Mia is a female Chihuahua, 6 years approx, tan and white, small size.

What a pretty girl and so soft! Mia really likes sitting on the couch curled up in a blanket.
She will immediately go to her kennel when told. She is potty trained and lets you know when she has to go outside,
she does her business and wants to get back into the house right away. When it's time for a treat she will do
circles for you. Mia needs a home with no cats - she can't resist chasing them.
Mia will guard her dog food from the other animals if it's left out, she does not try to guard from people.
I'm working on breaking her of that habit and seems to be responding well.
Rico is a male Chihuahua, 6 years approx, chocolate/gray, small size.

Rico is a very affectionate six year old boy. He was quite scared when he came into foster.
However, he immediately jumped into his foster's lap and asked to be cuddled. From the very first day,
he went to the door to indicate he needed to potty. He gets along well with the foster's female dog,
seemed excited to see other dogs outside and did not react to a neighbor's cat. He really liked the
8 year old boy he met. He is a bit of a pig when it comes to meal time and needs his food regulated
as he weighs 13 pounds and probably should only weigh 10. He slept in the foster's bed his first
night and loved it. He does snore a little but nothing that disturbs your sleep. He doesn't
mind his kennel although he seems reliable left to run free and was gated in a smaller room
when the foster went to work. He is playful, chews appropriately and does not seem barky
making him good for an apartment or condo. He enjoys riding in the car and going for walks
which will help him lose weight. Rico is a "Blue" Chihuahua which means he is a beautiful
milk chocolate/gray color with blue highlights. His fur feels like cat fur. This is a very
special little dog that will make someone very happy.
Mia
and
Rico
have lived together their entire lives so we would like a home for them together.
They are both on a weight loss plan right now.
