Dog Rescues in Australia Dog Rescue, Newcastle, NSWDog Rescue Newcastle is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation. Dogs are rescued from local pounds and kept in foster homes in the Newcastle/Lake Macquarie area. Dogs are often available for adoption to a loving home anywhere in Australia. Transport out of the area can be arranged including subsidized airfare. The adoption donation covers his desexing, vaccinations, heartworm vaccination, flea and worm treatments, microchipping, and lifetime registration.
